Our Services

A Space for Everyone

At The Anchor, we believe that support should be as unique as the person receiving it. Our doors are open to those 12 years and over within the Inverclyde community, offering a flexible and welcoming environment where you are never just a “case number.” Whether you are looking for a sense of belonging, a place to heal, or urgent support in a dark moment, we are here for you.

Support

We provide a consistent anchor for those 12 and over, through services that are active, relevant, and accessible.

Safety Support

Every Monday, 10am – 4pm, for 18+. This is our dedicated “no-wait” space. If you are struggling to cope or feeling overwhelmed, you can walk in and speak to someone immediately. We provide a calm, safe environment to help you find your footing.

Peer & Group Support

We host regular social and support groups for men and women. These sessions allow you to connect with others who share similar life experiences in a safe, non-judgemental setting.

A Culture of Kindness

Our space is built on mutual respect. We actively promote an environment that is inclusive and kind to all, challenging negative behaviours like misogyny to ensure everyone feels safe and valued.

Youth & Prevention Services

We are deeply committed to empowering the next generation. Our work with young people focuses on prevention and positive alternatives. We provide dedicated support and  mentorship to create a sense of purpose.

The Belonging Service

Isolation is one of the biggest challenges our community faces, and we believe connection is the best remedy. The Belonging Service is the heart of what we do – moving beyond service delivery into genuine community. Whether you need a place to chat, a way to give back, or simply a safe space to be yourself, this is your gateway to a supportive network that values kindness and lived experience above all else.

Nominate Yourself or Someone Else

We offer support to those aged 12 and over, from youth prevention to adult crisis care.
